Another useful function would be to be able to stop a rendering immediately without having to wait for the tasks to finish. I often send something to the Farm and then realise soon after that something needs changing. My only options then are to either wait for the tasks to complete, which could be hours, or shut down Render Farm and restart it.

I'm not sure if this is a viable option, but I've noticed there is no way to track the progress a rendering through Render Farmer can be done aside from tracking the amount of tasks completed. This is fine to some for the most part however I still really have no way of giving an estimation on completion time outside the realm of a time based upon averaged time it took to complete some of the initial pre-farm passes (which of course is wildly inaccurate). I only bring this up as I've been working with some very time sensitive last minute renderings and I feel awkward giving an answer to when will the rendering be done that is more or less, "When it's done.".

Cheers,
Andrew Uno
Stereoscopic panoramatag:accurender.ning.com,2016-11-16:6293855:Topic:1238692016-11-16T16:30:26.110ZMarko Stouthttp://accurender.ning.com/profile/MarkoStout

Hello there,

I made some panorama's in nXt.

Now i bought a Gear VR.

Is there anyone who knows how to make a stereoscopic panorama in nXt?

I can make a left eye and a right eye panorama but I don't know how to glue (stitch) those two and view them in a Gear VR

Mal ganz allgemein gefragt.

Gentlemen, just an idea:

As I used to work with either Architectural Desktop or simple objects (mostly both of them) - there are a lot of items I forget how is the material assigned - layer, object or architectural material... And sometimes it is more convinient for me to remove material from "uncertain" object and assign the proper one again.

To avoid this procedure - my question is: Roy, would it be possible (i.e. by clicking object) to get this info on screen?…

Would you think about implementing such a tool in next version?
Days Of Yoretag:accurender.ning.com,2014-06-10:6293855:Topic:1010632014-06-10T14:42:52.703Zakinlolu olugbojihttp://accurender.ning.com/profile/akinloluolugboji

A couple of additions would be useful:

The ability to change the order of renderings waiting for processing so that you can place a more urgent job near the top of the queue.

The ability to assign specific jobs to specific farmers. This would allow you to maybe leave one or two farmers free for immediate use while the rest are working on bigger projects.

Gentlemen,

I have created 2 trees (attached) and what I found out is that every single tree is either yellow or green, or olive, leaf colour dependend.

I think it would be great to put for example 2 (or more...) leaf types onto one tree, wouldn't it?

Roy, is this idea reasonable?

There seems to be a difference between a high quality photo and a high quality render:

When our graphic designer is trying to adjust levels he finds that with a render there is limited information particularly in very dark or light areas compared with a photo which acts more like a HDRI. This makes it very difficult to brighten up very dark areas or vice versa.

Is this a limitation of the software or can something be done about it?
