Render Farm Image Differencetag:accurender.ning.com,2014-04-01:6293855:Topic:991582014-04-01T20:24:15.329ZGarret Diduckhttp://accurender.ning.com/profile/GarretDiduck

I'm getting a different appearance in my image from the Render Farm output vs. single machine output. Both renders were started from the same machine back to back using hybrid. Pay attention to the color of the parking deck material in particular. The intent is to have the image look like the single node render. The only thing I can come up with is maybe I'm not using Farm build 315 on the nodes. Any thoughts?

Having some issues with the nxt image editor. spent 24 hours on a rendering and none of the alpha channels came through. Also, I guess I just don't get the benefit of the background not being attached to the image.... the thumbnail shows it and I thought it came along with the .nxtimage format. Is there an easy way to solve this? without the alpha channels I can't use the transparency of the materials to place the background in Photoshop. HELP! I don't want to spend 24 hours to re-render…

I ran a bunch of batch images on Render Farm. They created NXT images. what is the best step or way to preserver the original image as a TIFF or JPG. every way i do it, the alpha channel doesn't look like the image in the IMage viewer, it either separates out the backdrop or is extremely pixilated or the edges are not anti-aliased....

Is there a method of projecting an image with a light like a gobo? I'd like to be able to do the same thing nXt/AutoCAD as shown herefor nXt/Sketchup (4th post down).

I've tried the same method in AutoCAD without any success using a variety of lights and images.

Novice here

What is the best way to set a high resolution render quality image? Please see both pics below. One is what my render settings were. If you zoom in on the rendered image, you'll notice it is a very grainy image (after about 400 passes). I've seen many high quality rendered images posted here and don't know how to get same results. Is there anything I am doing wrong or missing?…

Wow! I have been using nXt for a while now and today I just realized that I also have the Image and Tree Editor. I know I have read about the image editor before but never took the time to look into it. I messed around with it a little this morning and both of these are great tools! Thanks guys for including these programs with nXt.

Any suggestions on how to make bushes in the tree editor? I noticed the default units in the Tree Editor are in meters. Can this be changed to foot/inch? When I create a tree and place it into my cad file, will it be placed identical each time? Or will it be placed (look) different each time I click?
