Hi Steve,

I've taken AccuStudio forum offline. There is a security breach that I can't get plugged.

With that, there really isn't any tutorials. I hope that it is simple enough. Create a camera path, this can be anything from a Line, Pline, Point or arc. Create a target which can also be a Line, Pline, Point or Arc. Once you have the camera and target path selections, you can adjust your camera, preview it or render. Caution, I would recommend saving your model before beginning an animation, this is memory intensive.

Since I'm in the process of catching up with what's new in the AccuRender world, I happened to wander into the old AccuStudio website yesterday... looking to see if I could download the latest version of CoMotion for my AR4 setup. The titles of the new AccuStudio Forum topics suggest this might have turned into a black market website for purchasing fake Louis Vuitton bags? Anybody know what's going on with the AccuStudio Forum?

Unlike CoMotion plugin in AR4, the animation capabilities of latest version is pretty limited, only the cameras can move now, but slideshows has being include and animated RPCs(fountains, waving peoples) work too. Output quality definitely better.

I use AR4 with Acad2004 or AR5 with Acad2011. I haven't tried doing an AccuRender animation since about 2002. I seem to remember using an add-on something called CoMotion back then.

A few questions...

Is there a animation tutorial available for my AR5/Acad2011 setup?

I'd like to see some sample animations created in AR5 and in nXtRender to compare quality. Where would I find some links?

Thanks,
