Use the polar array command in autocad and as a result, the mapping on every slice will be correct(first picture). You can also make a texture from the procedural map, bend it a little in PS and use it in the same way as a decal (second picture). Only problem is that you have to find a picture of mosaic that is made in a circular way. Using the "warp" command in photoshop you can get something like this.
