AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello,

Depending on what i use to set the background I find that the transperancy under the Decal properties is respected or not. For both the following settings, i have set under the Decal properties that the color of interest is transperant. (my decal used is the vegetation and the buildings on the side of the 3d model)

Setting 1

On picture n.1 you can see me setting a generic sky background with the Lighting tool, As a result on picture n.2 you can see the vegetation on the left side and the buildings on the right side of the 3d model nicely blending with the generic sky as intended.

Setting 2

On picutre n.3 you can see me setting a real sky using WalkAbout for the background, As a result on picture n.4 unexpectedly the vegetation on the left side and the buildings on the right side of the 3d model are not blending in with the background.

What is the problem here?

Thank you.

Meanwhile save your rendering as PNG with alpha channel. You can then add the sky background in photoshop or like.

Make sure the refracted background is set to visible. If that doesn't work it may need to wait until Monday-- I'm traveling today. Akinlolu's suggestion of alpha compositing should also work.
Thank you, I set the refracted background to visible and the result was excelent.
