AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

This is the first time this has happened with me.

I've applied a rooftile material to a 3D solid. When it renders, the bottom of the rooftile, near the gutter, does not render properly. This is the only section of roof it happens to.

It is though the image has turned the rooftile 90 degrees.

There are no colliding 3D solids etc.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks.

I've run across this myself when applying wood materials to exposed joists from time to time, I couldn't tell you the why or even a direct how to fix this (correctly), but I've taken to simply slicing the area and applying a copied material of with the orientation rotated 90 degrees, on occasion this same problem will occur to blocks on objects rotated diagonally as well. Hope that is of some help to you.

Thanks Andrew. It seems to happen when a material is applied to an angular object. I've tried using it as a planar material with some success, but a lot of time messing about.
