advanced rendering for AutoCAD
I'm not sure if this is a viable option, but I've noticed there is no way to track the progress a rendering through Render Farmer can be done aside from tracking the amount of tasks completed. This is fine to some for the most part however I still really have no way of giving an estimation on completion time outside the realm of a time based upon averaged time it took to complete some of the initial pre-farm passes (which of course is wildly inaccurate). I only bring this up as I've been working with some very time sensitive last minute renderings and I feel awkward giving an answer to when will the rendering be done that is more or less, "When it's done.".
Cheers,

Thanks for this. I'm pretty unlikely to make any changes to the current farm however I am very sensitive to these suggestions. The new stuff I'm working on is all time constrained. For example, you ask it to render for two hours. The rendering can be done on the cloud or a local farm. It's set up so that if it doesn't look done enough after your allotted time you can send it out for more and then merge the results with the previous runs.
That sounds phenomenal, I look forward to this upcoming system.
