AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Is there a place, here, a sort of repository, where we could put nXtPlants, materials, backgrounds, textured meshes... ? To partage with other nXt users (with licence), or is it not desirable?

And a "tips" section?
For now just send me anything you'd like to share. You can use the McNeel upload page (http://www2.mcneel.com/upload/Upload.aspx) for large items or just attach smaller ones to a roy@mcneel.com message. I'll approve each item individually.
If you're interested in providing Tips and Tricks we can get you a dokuwiki account and I'll add a section for it.
A garage sale section would not be a bad idea where member with old(but better than what some folks are presently using) system could ofter them for sale.
Let not forget about AccuStudio. :)
http://www.accustudio.com/

We could put a link to Accustudio on our downloads page.
Yep, Accustudio can continue to host 'stuff' :) We can break out a nXt section.
The tutorials could go there too that is where I learn to use the advance texture in Nxt and also got the nxt version of accustudio material library.

We might move CoMotion there too as there are still some queries in demand of Lord of Antilight attention there too.

"I am an old Accurender user. I now need to try and re-create some old images from old models. (about 20 years old) I have now downloaded Accurender Studio, and now work with AutoCAD 2016 and 2017 I have 2 questions related to Accurender Studio: 1)…"

Roy Hirshkowitz replied to Peter Milner's discussion AR Studio ground plane
"Yep-- the groundplane in ArStudio should be turned on in that case-- but you will get a rectangle which may need to be sized.  If it's not turning on, that's probably a bug."

Peter Milner replied to Peter Milner's discussion AR Studio ground plane
"Not to worry. I've just seen that ArStudio has its own version of a ground plane. It just doesn't translate the old nXt one."

Roy Hirshkowitz replied to Peter Milner's discussion AR Studio ground plane
"Sorry-- just got back into town last night.  Infinite objects aren't supported in ArStudio-- so yes-- the ground plane has to be represented by a finite object, in this case a rectangle.  You don't have to use mine, you can use…"

"good image and nice montage... the only thing is that the sky is too blue ... a light colour and would make it perfect"
