Changed the screen to a diffuse light source and aimed it toward the theater space.

Made the light source visible

Changed the intensity to 600 Watts

Checked the Use Object Color

Turned the brightness down to -.7

Thanks Ian. That is what I was missing, the "use object color". I used the area light on the screen and aimed it toward the seats. I might need to adjust the lighting. I used 60W white light. I used the Hybrid engine, 380 passes. Brightness = -0.3, Burn = 0.2…

like Akin said, tag the projection screen as area light, place a decal on top of it and check the "use object color" box. The screen should illuminate the room with the colors of the decal.

It might look a lot better as a light source. Make it an area light, make sure to aim it toward the seats, and check the Use Object Color box. I'm pretty sure this one could look a lot better. Upload it if you want me to take a shot at it.
