Webinar..how did it go?

I believe I might have just missed the first AccuRender nXt Webinar..If so what was the topic? How did it go? and when is it likely to be uploaded? Last question... is there a list of likely future Webinars.

 

Just a thought it would be great to have an industry specific Webinar such as construction, product design etc. My particular interest would be rendering for the furniture industry.

 Thank you for the all the comments.  Yes - as the name suggests this was "AccuRender nxt Basics."  We will try to do more advanced ones next.


We are really having fun with this webinar technology. They are a great way to trap concepts that need more explanation, documentation or discussion.
 
We have the WMV of Friday's AccuRender nXt Basics ready for you to download.
 
The Vimeo upload will happen on Monday and then we will post the link to this web site.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
