Always you need a nice render to star with it, if not photoshop is useless.

Does that really matter? If we want to sell the picture it really doesn't, does it, Mike? Who cares then how we reach the desired result? Especially if someone can do something like that quickly, even in photomall... :D

Excellent render - I really love the roofs!

Hola

Thanks for your comments

the roofs are meshes with map bitmaps and mask, also at the end use a litle photoshop editing to fix the edges and the low  end.

the light use a HDRI form dosch hires , with similar water color to the one in the image, add to the water in photoshop

Missing material assignments

I have a file that I rendered IN ACA 2014, using an older version of NXT, not sure how to tell which build I used.  I then got a computer upgrade and tried to run a rendering of the same file using ACA 2014 and a newly purchased version of NXT, not sure which version on this one either.  The rendering rendered correctly on my old machine, but on the new machine the ACA walls, doors and windows are all grey.  I tried to attach my cad file and rendering images but I exceeded the 5mb limit so I…See More

"AutoCAD handles the mapping now.  It usually survives xref'ing-- though it may behave a little differently than before.  Same is true for materials."

"Thanks to everyone for all the support! Mike, while I will have to experiment, the issue is that the mapping changes when the model (a building) is xrefed into the site plan. In the building model it is just fine. Jeff"
