Always you need a nice render to star with it, if not photoshop is useless.

Does that really matter? If we want to sell the picture it really doesn't, does it, Mike? Who cares then how we reach the desired result? Especially if someone can do something like that quickly, even in photomall... :D

Excellent render - I really love the roofs!

Hola

Thanks for your comments

the roofs are meshes with map bitmaps and mask, also at the end use a litle photoshop editing to fix the edges and the low  end.

the light use a HDRI form dosch hires , with similar water color to the one in the image, add to the water in photoshop

Skylight lighting issue

Hi AllI'm having a problem with lighting in an interior model. My model renders fine with daylight coming though windows and french doors. I have now been asked to put in Velux windows/skylights in the roof and this is where the problems start. With these added, daylight only comes through them, with no daylight coming through other windows and French doors.Does anyone have an idea as to what I am doing wrong? Many thanksTimSee More

"Thank you. You are right, I should show sky reflections in windows. Now it's missing something (reflections ;) )."

"I like it a lot! The only thing I could expect to see is some sky reflections in windows. And I would use path or hybrid engine for this, not the standard one."
