AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I'm still not convinced about the quality of image coming from the Hybrid rendering engine.

This one has had 8000 passes and still looks grainy, particularly with regards to the white panel on the right hand side.

I may try and combine it with a couple of thousand passes using the Path Tracer engine.

I'm not sure I can see what you're seeing-- however I have little doubt that some differences between the engines remain, and some areas of noise are just stubborn and may not resolve (we see this with the path tracer as well.)

I'm working on a new engine right now (in a different product coupled with a new material model). I'll send some examples along soon.  It combines aspects of both of these and includes automatic reflected and refracted caustics.  In the case of your rendering, some of the light (the specular portion) bouncing off the floor and striking other surfaces would be captured automatically.

The desk on the right looks like it has a textured white front panel, when it's supposed to be perfectly smooth.
