advanced rendering for AutoCAD
I'm experimenting with some animation and keep getting annoying flickering.
I presume this is caused by the auto exposure, but I can't turn it off.
Every time I un-tick the box, it turns itself back on.

Which engine and which type of animation (path-based or 3d slide show) ?
When you get a chance, send an example of the flickering. You can use roy@mcneel.com-- you may need to send a link if the file is large.
Hi Roy,
It was the Path Tracer engine and a path based animation.
I'll send you the file.
Exposure instability is as good bet here.
If you have a chance to run this again, try the hybrid engine and the standard engine. I'll have Rich check to make sure the auto-exposure checkbox is working even if it doesn't appear to be persistent. I suspect it is, and that there is something else causing the instability. We haven't had very many people attempt animations using the Path Tracer yet.
Actually-- hold off on trying the other engines. I may have found an obvious problem.
It may be a week or so until I can get Render Plus to build a new version for you to test.
No problem.
Thanks for looking into it.
We uploaded a new version with a fix for the auto-exposure checkbox which was not working correctly.
Here is a link to the 64 bit install:

Please try that.
Thanks,
