Is Co-Motion still around and does it work with nXt Render?

That is the goal to implement additional features over the next 6 weeks. I have to retrain myself how to program, but we will get it there.

Another question:

Is it possible to hook comotion up to the renderfarm?

Now that is a very good question. I've never used the renderfarm, so I'm not sure of the process and if there is any API hooks available.

The animation panel in nXt has a Farm button at the bottom allowing you to use the renderfarm.

Also, if I remember rightly, shouldn't there be control over the speed of the camera movement, lens length and other elements?

Yes, more control over the camera. Also on the 'To Do' list. coMotion had to be built from the ground up with the changes in nXt compared to Accurender 4.0. Because more items relied on the native features of AutoCAD, I had to work from with the AutoCAD database more, i.e. one of those items was the camera. In the old version, Accurender had it own camera proxy object. And with that, Andy programmed the original coMotion and I went digging through the code and took this new approach. It has been sitting for too many years... The holidays are upon us and I may have time to get several of these implemented.

Don't worry. There's no immediate rush. It's just a back burner project we're working on.

Hello...

The previous NXT version was looking for people

I can no longer fetch these files.

It also viewed thumbnails. Not now. It is difficult to choose the materials.

No longer shows the thumbnail photos.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Thank you!!!

You need to start a new thread meanwhile for the thumbnails not showing do this.

  1. Make sure you're logged in as an Administrator.
  2. In the start menu All Programs->Accessories right click in the command prompt and select Properties.
  3. Select Advanced and check the box marked Run as Administrator.
  4. Run the program-- you should get an Admin Command Prompt window.
  5. Navigate to the accurender folder-- usually cd "c:\program files\accurender nxt"
  6. Run regsvr32 on armatthumb64.dll.

Windows did not actually run the file "reg_thumb.bat".
I entered the Prompt as administrator through the cmd command, after running, I rebooted the computer and now the thumbnails appear.

So the file name I had to execute is "reg_thumb.bat"

  Thank you very much!

Thanks for helping solve the thumbnail problem.

How to insert people. In the previous NXT version, I used this path. But he will not accept it.

No longer accepted.

Another question

In this Plants editor, is it possible to create a palm tree?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I insert a palm tree into the NXT Render?

To insert objects

1.Open a new drawing

2. type, '3dsin'

3. follow the prompts

4. save the drawing

5. go back to your scene and insert as an X-ref or block (i prefer the former)
