AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Is there a way to remove a material from a drawing? I tried Purge, but that didn't work.

Purge.  It won't work if the material has been assigned.  They're just AutoCAD materials now with some extra data.

If the material is assigned to a layer, but then the layer is removed would purge work? Same question with an object.

It should.  It's managed by AutoCAD at that point. AutoCAD only allows purging of objects that are unreferenced.  The unassigned ones will show up in the AutoCAD Purge tree under materials with a prefix of "AccuRender-"

yes..!!! theres a way to remove material to a drawing

1- get material from file / open

2- pick the material / and asign to a drawing

a- option: edit material

b- option: attach material to objects

c- option (the one you need) remove material from objects

this work both ways if you use a material from autocad this work too... try.. open rmat in autocad and choose a material and then try to remove with nxt tools... it work for me... autocad 2013

it work....!! but remenber first , draw a solid on autocad ,open nxt and have fun..!!

I am unclear by what you mean...'remove with nxt tools'.

c- option (the one you need) remove material from objects
