Hi

I haven't used nxt for a while, now I find myself having to do elevational shadows for council. The only problem I have is I do not know how to adjust my setting to be able to show corner of walls . I have attached an example, where I have the correct sun settings and I have done a render run, but I am missing something as the corner of the wall is not defined or showing. Can someone please help me with this asap, Any help would be much…

I have however noticed since our tech decided to restructure the architecture of our server that larger renderings will bounce from farm node to farm node on the farm monitor and any calculations to produce completion time estimations might as well get thrown out the window (sometimes the rendering never resolves period). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this (I've suggested to tech that it was the restructuring of the server architecture but they simply disregard this as they are "infallible"). I was in a dialogue with another department about this and things did not resolve the best as I am held responsible for the on-goings of renderings and the render farm.

I've been using Accurender 4 running in AutoCAD 2006. Both are 32 bit programs which I have running in Windows 10 64 bit, using Longbow Converter. It has actually been working pretty well, but suddenly I can't get it to save rendered images. I tell it to save, but then the saved file does not show up in the directory which I have saved it to.

Hello again everyone,

So everything has been going relatively well with the render farm and farm software, but a random question did come up from one of our techs and I didn't have an answer. The question is, with the renderings being run are there local cache files being created that can or should be cleared upon completion or error.
Hey everyone,

I've just run into the strangest problem and I for the life of me can't figure out what could be causing it. I've been working on a rendering and for whatever reason the floor is reflecting color onto the ceiling. I've tried changing both floor and ceiling materials as well as reducing all reflective qualities of both materials to 0 and the color reflection still is occurring. All I'm left with it possibly being is the angle of the shot is taken from. I will post a picture of the instance later (I decided to move the rendering to the back burner as a new project came in with a more pressing deadline). If anyone has any insight into why this would be happening it would be much appreciated. Cheers.
Server Interruption Questiontag:accurender.ning.com,2017-10-27:6293855:Topic:1295032017-10-27T15:48:40.371ZAndrew Unohttps://accurender.ning.com/profile/AndrewUno

Good morning everyone,

As we start to near the winter season a thought came to mind. I was curious if anyone knows what happens in the render farming process if there are server interruptions. The weather where I am can tend to adversely impact power, telecom, and data in the area I am. Does the rendering pick up from where it left off like during a pause, does it start over from 0, or does it simply error out and never rectify itself?
