AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Started a rendering and reduced the ACAD/nXt windows. Started another ACAD session and did some separate work. Have closed the second session of ACAD...

Can't get the render window to come up...although the ACAD window comes up and is available to use. Have confirmed that the rendering is proceeding by noting the number of passes is increasing.

It's nXt Version 1.0.348 (yea, I know....old)...., Autocad Architecture 2016 and Windows 10.

Screen shop attached...Help?

Thanks,

John

Let it run overnight, thinking the window might be slow to appear due to processing. No luck...It was still processing though.

Clicked the x in the little preview window at the bottom of the screen.

The rendering window preview disappeared.

Clicked the start a rendering button and the rendering window appeared and asked if I wanted to save the current rendering…. I did.

All’s well….

Hover your mouse over the AutoCad session on the taskbar all hidden windows should pop up.

then right and click maximize the session you are interested in.

That's the way it's supposed to work....just wasn't cooperating. All the other windows popped up, just not the rendering window.

Tested it after with a simple model/rendering and it worked as expected. I have no answer as to the odd behavior. All's well now. Will set it to autosave in the future....

Thanks,

John

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
