As everyone has made relevant comments, I can only say that the model of the house itself pleases me very much. And that the use of palm fiber "piaçava" is common in Northeastern region of Brazil, mainly in constructions on the beach.

Maciel, you have  sharp eyes, the background image was take by a 55mm lens, and the rendered one by a 30mm lens, I did that another times and nobady saw it. I need to be more accurate next time.

About the roof edge, I did not find an image wide enough to made it correctly, the one I has made it tilled.

The CMU material, and many others you can find in CG texture site, www.cgtextures.com.

The one I use is attached below.

Deccio,

Nice picture, I like the feel. Porsche looks very good with the reflections, however it is not the main focus on the picture. Good composition ratio as well.

The roof edge - one can see tiling material, was it intetionally?

The CMU material for ground looks nice, wouldn't you mind sharing bitmap? The only "but" is the perspective - looks like it doesn't match the background picture... Seems like the perspective has been shot with wide lens, and the background with the normal one.

Its a nice rendering... good shadows that  define the house well.. If I may suggest that you add some cloudiness to your sun to give the shadow a softer edge. Also, in regards to the Ficus, I wouldn't render that in NXT... if you do any post editing in photoshop find a matching plant and apply it that way. It would be much more realistic.

Hi Chris, the material in the back of the house, really is a ivy like plant that covered a wall brick, named "Ficus Pumila L", I think that shadows made by the sun position, and the small size of the picture, made it looks like another thing.

I have a 32" screen monitor, and on that, it looks well.

The material that cover the roof, is a very strong palm tree fiber, named Piaçava, "Atalea Funifera", and is commonly used on country houses roofs, in Bahia southern regions, were this palm tree is common.

What is that heavy material in the back of the house..left side an somewhat on the right side. Also are the roof fascias the same material as the roof?
