My take, Hybrid does a better job on exteriors as in the case here and others I have seen the dark areas are better lighted via indirect lighting, while the path tracer for interiors as seen from the reflections of the trolley on the floor, colour saturation seems to be better too in my view.

I use path tracer for most of my images. But I like the floor and the glass in the hybrid engine.
