AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

good morning to all
I have a problem: I have to do the render of a rose (see picture) only that the mosaic is placed in a radial manner, and not square (like all ceramic materials present in the library nxt)

has anyone had the same problem? how can I solve it?

also attach a photo of similar du rose window in which you notice the radial arrangement of the elements ceramics (I did a little sketch of how they might be willing)

This is what i would do. Make a procedural tile map from your texture. Draw one of the slices in the circle and quickmap the map on the slice. Use the polar array command in autocad and as a result, the mapping on every slice will be correct(first picture). You can also make a texture from the procedural map, bend it a little in PS and use it in the same way as a decal (second picture). This way the spread of the tiles seems a little more natural , but with the first method, you have more control over tiles, joints, reflectivity, bump...

perfect, it was what I wanted to do. Now I try the procedure you described, thank you!

Render 1 copy (1)

This is a remake of one of Peter Milner's scenes. I dont have the file. I photo-matched it in sketchup and rendered in nxt render for autocad.I just retouched it and increased the resolution.
