AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I just installed Comotion 2.0 and the demand loader.  (using Autocad 2012 and Accurender build 271).  I try to load Comotion and get the error: no function definition: dcl_project_load.  I searched that error and found a thread with a solution from Daniel of:

Every once and again OpenDCL does not demand load. You can add it to your AppStart. The ARX should be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\OpenDCL and you want the file OpenDCL.x64.18.arx

I am not sure what or where AppStart is.  I did locate the file and tried loading it with appload and I get an error of:

unable to load OpenDCL.x64.18.arx file.

Since I have a 32 bit machine I tried doing the same with the OpenDCL.18.arx file and I get a different error of:

The OpenDCL local language resource module was not found or could not be loaded.  OpenDCL cannot continue.  Please reinstall OpenDCL Runtime to correct the problem.

Can someone tell me how to correct this problem.  I have an animation project I need to do and I would prefer not to do it on my old home machine that still has AutoCad 2004, Accurender 3.0, and the original Comotion on it.

BTW, what is the current status of Comotion?  Is it still being developed or supported?  Looks like there has not been much activity on it for a year or two.  I really loved the program and bought the original as soon as it was available.  For the simple animations I need to do occasionally it really did a great job.  What comes in NXT now is pretty useless to me since from what I see you can only make the camera move, not the objects in the drawing.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
