i have edited a palm tree and saved it to a new name in AR4 plant lib, somehow it wont show it on the list when i ried to add it in legacy ar4 plants in nxt ....any ideas why?

It will only show all the original ar4 plant but not the one you can edit and rename ,i have saved it to the same ar4 lib and called ir palm date (version2) still no joy

You're talking about editing the thing using ar4 tools not nXt tools, right?  Not sure what's up.  Can you see the thing in ar4?

yes...i am using the AR4 tools to edit the palm tree...once its done i am saving it with same original name with version2 at the end of the name. Now i have tried to use it in nxt by using ar4 plant legacy ,it doest read the new edited palm i have created.it only reads the original files of ar4 plants.

i hope that`s clear

Can you tell if it's visible in ar4?

yes and it renders in ar4

Weird.  Can you send the plant lib?  In the process verify that the file has indeed been recently edited.  You'll need to zip it up.  Use Support->Upload a File if you want to keep it private.  Let me know the name of the recently edited plant.

you can try it yourself...just edit any palm tree in ar4 and save it and give it a different name. now try to open it in nxt legacy plant and please let my know....there might be file protect on the ar4 lib...i am just thinking out loud

I don't think I've got ar4 installed on anything anymore.
