Help Please masking tree with transparency in Nxtrender for autocad

Hi All

Can some Please HELP me in regards to adding trees with transparency thru NXTrender. I am really struggling.  IN autocad I create a planar surface, and then I go to NXTrender, and add the image of my tree and then I map it on. The problem I have it does no work to scale, and the background is not transparent. Also the image is not single it is tiled, I have no IDea on how to fix this problem, can someone please put me in the right direction. I have attached an image as to show the problem I am experiencing. If there is a video or a step by step process that someone can share with me, I would really appreciate it.

I look forward to hearing back from anyone.

Hey Alex -

I think I can help - I've used this this to add people to renderings and it should work -

First you need to create a new material that is completely transparent and apply it to your planar surface. I'll attach images showing the settings to use.

Next, you need to apply your tree bitmap to the surface as a decal. This is done in the Object Properties section. It looks like your image has an alpha channel, so you'll need to select Alpha masking - see attached image.

This should do it for you.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
