AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

  • I’m new to nXtRender, but I’m more familiar to Accurender 3 & 4, is it the the same Accurender?
  • I downloaded a trial version of nXT, but before buying I’d like to practice it more

And I was wondering where I can get a manual or a file that I can print and follow

        Step by step?

  • Does this software come with the same entourages as the version Accurender 3 & 4?

Or I can use the same ones from 3 & 4?

  • My current operating system is Window vista 32 bit and I have AutoCad 2010, Is it compatible with these two?

  • I’m thinking to upgrade my computer to Window 7 and AutoCad Architecture 2013 with 64 bit, Can I install nXt again and work?

nXt was written by the same person, Roy, who wrote AccuRender 3 and 4.

However it is a new engine and renderers in a completely different way.

Many of the concepts in the User interface are the same - but it is definitely a different user interface.

There is a manual on how to use it. But we haven't created a step by step guide. We are creating some videos on getting started which we will post here when they are ready.

There is a library of Plants and materials - many of the materials are AR3 materials converted ito nXt materials. The trees are all new. AccuStudio is also working to create nXt-ready plants and materials.

I am not sure if nXt workis with AutoCAD 2010. It definately works with 2013.

Can anyone else chime in?

It works with 2010

And also goes all the way back to AutoCad 2007, not sure about the beta version of AutoCad 2014.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
