"We don't have any installations for AR4 or distributions for the AccuStudio libraries. We don't think McNeel has anything either. Do you have the old libraries on backup or on the old machine?"

Roy Hirshkowitz replied to Albert D Hart's discussion RPCs in the Render Farm

RPCs in the Render Farm

From a user:I am having a problem with render farm with Autocad Accurender nxt.. The rpc's. will not render in the animations. Do you know if there has been an update to correct this issue? Or will t RPC's just not work in render farm animations? they do work find in animation within the drawing. Also is there a place to ask these kinds of technical questions?  I tried starting a rendering then cancelling then use render farm. However the RPC's just appear as gray objects without materials.See More

Peter Milner replied to Albert D Hart's discussion Is nXtRender a good path for old AR3/AR4 users?
"I don't think the windows work quite like that. In fact, the more direct light you have, the quicker the rendering resolves. Create a 600 x 600mm rectangle, turn it into a region and tag it as an area light with 200W. Place it a couple of mm…"

Al,

I wrote a modal old style library browser that I use to let users select old plants for now. The user selects a plant and I make a mesh out of the plant wires and plunk it in the model, I do not currently allow users to modify old style plants.
