"Al, I wrote a modal old style library browser that I use to let users select old plants for now. The user selects a plant and I make a mesh out of the plant wires and plunk it in the model, I do not currently allow users to modify old style plants."

John,

In our nXt interface to SketchUp, we let the user choose AR3 plants and grab an image of the plant to place on the dummyt placeholder in SketchUp.

Do you let users choose AR3 plants?

If so, are you using a stand-alone to select and edit them?

If so can I get a copy?

Al

Material with stretch map (not tile)

Is there any way to create a material where the image map stretches across the object, instead of tiling? For example, the attached image "Jaali.jpg" is the material map I want to stretch across any object I apply it to. But it always seems to tile it across the object, as shown in the "Sample output.jpg".I can't use the object decal option, since the object that the material is applied to is not always the same (i.e., it can be applied to multiple objects and the size of these objects are not…See More
