AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi, roy, I notice an instability with the last update. On several dwg, the render stop at the first pass and the same number, for example: pass1 (2320); and when sometime it go farther, to the 4 or 43 pass, ist stop at the same number (2320 for this example). NXT is freezing, I can come back to autocad to save, but when I try to stop nxt, I have to make them crash (close the window) to go out. And I noticed problem in reflection as I show you in the picture. When I go back to the "249", everything is ok... and faster.

I'm not quite sure I understand.  If you have a drawing that's crashing with any consistency I'm definitely interested.

The reflection, particularly with glossy objects, is quite a bit different now.  Per pass times might be faster with 249 but convergence should be a lot faster with the current version.

NXT is freezing, it stops, at the first pass often, when I remove some plants or objects, sometime it goes after the first, but it stops, and it seems, always at the same moment of the render pass. That happen on several drawings. And every drawing has his own point where it freeze. I don't know if it's nXt or my hard-soft-ware. But with the 249, everything is ok, no freeze.

About the problem with reflection: on the pictures I send, the "261" is after 43 passes (and crash) and the "249" after 4 passes (around).

The current version is 263-- you might try it.  I need to reproduce the problem here in order to do anything about it.  Currently I'm not experiencing the problem you're describing with any of my test models.  I'm happy to try to reproduce the problem here if you want to try.  You'll need to upload the drawing with instructions.
Oh yes! Exact, I wanted to say 263. The reflection issue is visible on the feet of the table. I make some trial and I come back.

I know about the reflection "issue"-- it's a change in behavior.  If you increase the sharpness of the material you should get closer to your first picture.  The only issue I'm interested in right now is the hanging or crashing.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
