AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Temporary files used by render farm nodes may not be properly deleted when the node completes a task.  These files may accumulate over time and use a lot of disk space, particularly when running tasks involving many  or hi-res textures.

You may need to manually delete the existing temporary files to free up disk space.  To do this, use the following procedure:

  1. Wait for the farm to complete any pending jobs.
  2. On each node, make sure Flamingo, AccuRender, or IRender is not currently running.  The Render Farm Node software can continue to run.
  3. On each node, search your temp folder for folders beginning with nXt-.  (On Vista or Windows 7, the default location of the temp folder is C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp. On Xp the location is C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\temp.)
  4. Delete these folders.

After updating to Build 250 this procedure should no longer be necessary.

Build 250 is not yet available, correct?
It's a render farm only build.

"The wooden texture of the TV-Console looks quite decent. The Wallpaper on the left has an interesting structure, maybe it would look even better, if you make the texture seamless + applying a little bit of depth, e. g. with highpass - filter in PS?"
