AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Brings the render farm up to date with respect to the current stable version.

You won't be able to render fog using the farm unless you have version 273 or greater of AccuRender nXt (coming shortly.)

Roy, al momento de descargar me parece como version 271. ????
Perdon, Roy estaba tratando de bajanrlo en un sitio equivocado. Saludos

Roy, I have a question: for the render farm, does the network server need to mount Win32 or 64 or it could also be a network storage device such as Cisco or similar? I mean, should it just guest the "farm directory"?

Thanks

Hard to say-- you'll need to try it.  In theory, any shared folder accessible as a network device should work.  I believe the path has to have a UNC form (for example \\Machine Name\Shared Folder\.) The folder must have read/write access and all passwords need to be taken care of beforehand (nXt has no provisions for password protection.)

However, the farm mechanism does rely heavily on Windows-style file and folder locking, so it's possible that it may fail on a non-Windows network device.  The type of failure you get may be intermittent and difficult to predict.

"The wooden texture of the TV-Console looks quite decent. The Wallpaper on the left has an interesting structure, maybe it would look even better, if you make the texture seamless + applying a little bit of depth, e. g. with highpass - filter in PS?"

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
