AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello,

I am currently in the process of reinstalling nXtrender for AutoCad after the hard drive on my machine failed. I have replaced the hard drive with a new one. I have gotten nXt render to install but am having trouble getting the RPS License dialog box to open.

When I load nXt, I receive the message in the command line.

"c:\program files\accurender nxt\rps_bin\nxtrender_load_r19_x64.arx is an invalid ARX file."

I have tried copying that file from another machine where I don't receive that message, but as soon as I copy it and reload nXt, the error message shows again in the command line. I am able to use an expired trial version of nXt but cannot render at larger sizes.

When I click the RPS License... button on the help pulldown menu on the toolbar, nothing happens. How do I access the license menu?

Thanks for any help.

I'll have to locate a version which will work with your license number.

Obviously, the version which we sent you a link to download last week was missing the license dialog. I won't be able to track that down until tomorrow however, since no one is in the office today due to a snow event.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the reply. This morning when I opened AutoCad and loaded nXt I had no trouble opening the RPS License dialog box. Not sure what changed or if my computer just decided to be nice today. I am all up and running again and unvalidated the old computer so that this new machine is the only one registered with the program. Thanks for your help though.

Lydia

Great!

Thanks for the update.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
