AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Are the rendering time affected in these three scenario?
  1. A with X-Ref files in it.
  2. A drawing with blocks and not x-ref.
  3. A drawing with blocks and x-ref.
All three scenario are the same drawing. In the first the component part ie floors are assembled in the scene as xref. The second same floors but inserted as blocks and the third, coping and pasting the different floor in the scene.

Shouldn't be. If you use multiple insertions of the same block nXt will instance these. This will save memory but may take a little longer to render.
In other words the third option is the best scenario, because for easy updates and amendments I go by the first option. The used to be way back them no more now.
I have no idea what that means. From a rendering standpoint you can use whichever option you prefer. Apart from instancing, which I explained above, the render engine has no clue how geometry arrives-- it has no concept of blocks or xrefs. Instancing, on the other hand, can impact performance.
Thanks, got it. It just that I have a scene take longer than expected. But with the added xref floor it moves faster.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
