AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Good morning

I am with another question:
I have 2 files: site-plan and plant.

the plan as an xref charge the plant

when I start a render (in the plan file), I realized that does not create the texture of materials, but only the color layer (see image 1 and 2).

but if I open the plant files, I notice that the texture of the walls can properly (see Figure 3).

Why?

This is a post from akin in another discussion:

"Changing the visretain variable from one to zero would help xref render properly."

By the way I never tried this but I read this over the weekend.

wrong!
Check the Units in the parent drawing-- make sure they are set correctly. If you can't figure it out you can send me the drawings + xrefs using the Support->Upload link above and I'll take a look.
hello roy;

In accuRender 4 it was possible to set the drawing scale.

I see here where to set the unit of measurement?
Nxt use Autocad units.
I tried to do one thing:
Download the plan as an xref file in the plant.

the result is that the texture that I applied to the layout, now you see!

then there is a problem to the file of the plans on the scale of the texture.
I state that the values of units of the two designs are the same

The scale factor is incorrect in your drawing. It is listed as millimeters, but the model is drawn in meters. Use the _UNITS command to change the insertion scale, or change the _INSUNITS system variable from 4 to 6. If you're working with ACA, it will ask you if you wish to rescale any drawing objects-- say no to this question.

Once I did this it seemed to work fine. I could not find any xref problem.

thanks roy!!

problem solved. you are great!

but as ever, even if the files of the plant was set the unit of measurement in millimeters, you could see the render, but not in the plan?
This can happen sometimes with older ar3/4 models, when the AutoCAD scale is set to one value and the old AR scale is set to another.
ok, and thanks again for your support
