Thanks Rich. I for one have never tried any other rendering software. I have found that NXT gives me exactly what I need to do. As you mentioned the things it does not do well I use Photoshop to correct. I firmly believe it's the chef that makes the meal not the kitchen he/she cooks in. The best thing about NXT is that the developers are always working to make it better and are direct contact with its users and more importantly listens to it's customers in making the product better.

Beautiful image, Chris.  Looking at your renderings, I can't see that there should be too much complaining about Accurender (RenderPlus) being short on quality.  It takes time and knowledge.

In comparision with other rendered images from software like 3d Max combined with V-ray, all, and I mean all images I have studied, finish with a heavy dose of PhotoShop.

All of my photographs are finalized with Photoshop or another image editor.

Keep up the good work and share often.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
