I'm not expecting to find anything wrong or any bugs to fix here (unless there's something wrong with the nXtImage combine.)  This is probably just a study model for me as a difficult test case.  Models with many light sources are scheduled for a revisit.

Ok Roy, don't worry. I do not have to work on that until january, I think.

Got 'em-- thanks.  It may be a few days until I can study this one.

Right, I'm going to do it. There will be 5 uploads in total. Thanks Roy

I think the upload link on this website can handle 150MB.  You'll probably need to break it into a couple of packets.

I could at least create a torrent for the zipped file and send you the address..

I don't have any problem in sharing the model with you, the only problem are the 220Mb plus some xrefs and the nxtimages...

Comment by Roy Hirshkowitz on December 7, 2011 at 9:31am

I'd be interested in taking a look at as much as you're willing to share.  The entire model will be a good test case for me.  The two nXtImages would be interesting as well-- I don't think the fireflies should be "increasing."

Comment by Miguel Tano Adanes on December 7, 2011 at 8:47am

@ Roy: you mean the model itself, Roy? You kow, I have 2 nxtimages of this, one of 619 passes, the other of 219. If I put them together with image editor, fireflies increase. Do you want me to send you the floor lamp model?

Actually, now that I think of it-- the large number of sources could easily be the culprit.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More
