I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.

You are rigth likely, but it takes a lot of time.
This 20 passes spend something like 1 hour, and how a need to send many vews of the plans to my client, I need the images quickly.
But I will follow your suggestion, and will see what happens.

really needs more passes. The shadows are not resolved at all. Take the lamp for instance. All these strange shadows will disappear with more rendering time, and yes, you will see the difference on a printed A4. Nice image btw.

Because I print my images on a A4 size fotopaper, I configure NXT for only 20 passes.
With this resolution, It is good enough for this paper size.
