Here are some simple steps to get the out of focus effect
1)Place your camera (35mm lens) 600-700mm from the desired object.
2)Set your view.
3)Render setting-Depth of field should be set between
0.550 -0.650
4)Set focal distance - 600 to 700 depending on how far you set your camera from the object.
5) Render

@Ignacio Gastelum Moller if your drawing settings in meters, then your focal distance should be set to 0.7meter the other should be the same figures I quoted ...anyway try it.

Jorge Javier Lara Dominguez ..no Jorge I did it the old fashion way in nxt software panel....I have yet to try the image editor but I shall tested next.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
