@kingiin

in the material library -site- snow material - change the setting on Bumps feature (rubble) to suits the type and the effect you want.

in nxt folder - the programme reside - open it - and open the list of types of trees or ground cover

when you to want to change the leaf type or grass,click on the leaf image and upload your leaf or grass you created, it must be in png format/transparent back ground on your image to work. next step is to increase the numbers from standard 40 to 80 and so on for ground cover grass-its a trail and error

Mike,

How can I start this plant editor programme? I put one of "your" trees and looks like legacy-plant editor doesn't work... Do I proceed anything wrong?

Maciej

ok...in nxt there is a plant editor programme which will allow you to create trees and shrubs and ground cover....for grass if want to creat your own ,you need to creat the grass image on photoshop...then its trail and error to see what works for you..

I've downloaded the grass you created, Mike. Qestion - how to edit the grass? Or create my own groundcover, using nXt?

Any cues appreciated

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

Rich Hart replied to Daniel Holz's discussion PBR Textures in nxtRender for Autocad
"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
