see attached grass I created, using your tips. It works pretty nice...:-) The only thing I'd like to improve is colour. Would you mind to share the leaf bitmap you created your grass with?

I have it off - generally the "conveniences" provided by AutoCAD are more trouble than they're worth. The latest version is "convenient" to a fault, literally.
