AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

More of an ACAD question...

Have exploded, extruded and rotated my text to be used for signage...that occurs on a curved wall.

All the letters are individual solids.

Any quick-n-easy way to get the letters repositioned/rotated along the curve of the wall? I've tried using array (polar and path) and align....failed at each.

Trying to avoid having to do each letter individually, as there will be other options on case and size that I have to do.

Images attached....

Thanks for any help,

John

Use a decal or else you have to position the extruded letterings manually

Thanks for the response....I had found an old lisp called 3DText, but couldn't get it to work.

Ended up modeling the text in SkecthUp using an extension called Shape Bender. Easy to use and did what I wanted. Imported into ACAD. Done. ACAD could use something like this...
