Some of the old plants still work well, but many don't. I had a large selection of palms. nXt does not apply the correct trunk radius, so California Fan palms that used to render with a 3' diameter trunk now render with a 8"+/- trunk. editing the "diameter" with nXts edit tool only makes the tree taller.

This is typical with all of my palms. I've actually moved to using textured mesh obj or 3ds files when it calls for close ups or more detail. That attached image show a Cal Fan Palm that used ro have a trunk nearly the same width as the skirt.

The leaf mapping is off too.

Bushes and flowers seem to still render as expected. Haven't tested groundcover, but I assume those are fine too.

Still I did not get real reply to my question.. Please tell me How can I down load all plant files of old versions without having old versions on my computers. Do you know any direct link available ???

I'm doing a search on my PC. I think I still have the old exe's to install (3 seperate if I remember correct). If not at home, I have them at work. I'll look Monday.

in the meantime..

I don't know what in the zip other than an install exe, but I do know you will need to path the director to the mlib (material library) and plib (plant library) and you will need the textures if the installer does not supply them. I assume it does.

I have accusudio_plib7 on my NXT folder

does it has these old plants

please so me how to install plant library

a plib is from AR3/4 as nXt used individual plant files like materials are. If you have the plib then I assume you have the textures that go with it. I think the mlib has the materials for the plants. I think you should have both.

I have my plant libraries and material folders in one "Materials" folder and have nXt pathed to it (image below).

Check the little hammer and wrench in the upper right corner of the nXt toolbar. verify the paths are pointing to your folder(s).

Once you check that, you should be able to "add legacy plant" and navigate to your plib.

oh, and I did not have the installers for the plants2 library at home. 90% sure I still have them at work.
