AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi folks,

I am a professor teaching landscape architecture and have ben using Acurender since 1994+-. I am a newby to 64 bit nxt with ACAD 2011. Any ideas why polylines will not render as arcs? I tried setting the segments in a polyline curve higher and rendered object smoothness higher as well. So far no luck. Everything looks great in walkabout and then turns to large facets on the render.

Thank you for your help!

Polylines with arcs or variable widths are no longer supported.  If these have width you can use the _CONVTOSOLID command to make solids out of them.  It's a little more complicated if they don't have width, but not too bad.

Thank you for the quick reply--very dissapointing. I use polylines for streets, sidewalks, curbs, walls and many other site entities. They are a very efficient way to model a site and use the fewest computer resources for large models. I will have to rethink my methodology for large models of complex sites.

Best,

David
