AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I'm not getting something here..........

I am trying to render a pylon shaped object in a shiny metal like stainless steel or chrome and not getting the shine and liquid glossy look.

If I model a sphere and apply a material (AccuRender_nxt_Chrome) it looks like it should.

The same material applied to the pylon renders flat gray.

I am understanding the object needs an hdri to give reflections.

I am using default hdri sky and studio lighting. (nothing else)

What am I missing here?

Aqui mando un ejemplo para obtener el material

Gracias por un ejemplo de su trabajo hermoso. ¿Cómo me aplico a mi pilón?
Thank you for an example of your beautiful work.
How do I apply to my pylon?

I don't think I am have a problem with materials.

I would like to render a single object (the pylon) with a shiny glossy metal material similer to chrome or polished stainless steel.

This would appear to be a simple task.

Apparenty not in Accurender.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
