"The real resolution is 1920x1200 pixels but I think when the pictures are uploaded they are automatically resized and downgraded in quality. Probably because of saving space on the server. At first, I used the build in render in AutoCAD but it was…"

"For image of resolution of the posted one (1400 × 875 pixels)? Way too long render time. To tell the truth, nXt speed was the ONLY reason I practically stopped to use it and am using different one now for my job."

"Thank you! Yes, it's too much. But is difficult to determine the glossiness, in the beginning, it changes with the number of the passes and gets duller. My computer is not fast enough to do more renders to the final stage so I can get the…"

"Beautiful work! I  think that wood finish is way to reflective. Would expect more diffuse (blurry reflecting) surface there."

"Well these are Gaggenau appliances so on top is glass and beneath is a brushed INOX. It took me a lot of time to set up the INOX material, and is still not perfect."

"In AutoCAD the nXt's pane is called palette. The Lighting; Materials; Render Settings and Object properties you can call simply Main Tabs and those in Lighting Main Tab just a Tabs.  "

Andrew Uno replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"I've been doing that I was hoping for the capability to create a rendering with a 300 DPI base. Oh well, thanks for confirming information."

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"The trick to just change the DPI in PhotoShop is to uncheck Resample Image.  Then the number of pixels in the image remains the same. This is explained here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/image-size-resolution.html"

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"Right. You can use a program like PhotoShop to specify that the DPI is 300. That doesn't change the number of pixels in the image, but simply changes the size that it prints to. You would want to use the same program that your art department…"

Andrew Uno replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"I may have found the disconnect, are you saying that I have to take that image then go into lets say photoshop and image size it down to an 8.5"x11" 300 dpi, in post to generate the 300 dpi image? The art department and I had words about…"

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"During the first 30 days of the trial period, you can render to any pixel size that you want. So, by setting the paper size to 8.5 x 11.00, you will get a rendering of 2550 x 3300 pixels at 300 DPI, as shown below: After the 30 day trial period,…"
