AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Is there any chance to keep the links to the specific folders in the windows like "Get  Material from file", "Add plant" "Save Current view" ect. ? Now all the browsing windows in nXt show the same, last used folder and you need to switch between them all the time...

And the other question - I'd like to see the material, plant and groundcover files as thumbnails every time I open it.

Both the issues were possible in AR3 and AR4 (set in Options), are they possible in nXt too?

I recall this was discussed earlier - there were more of us wanting the same... as it is not implemented yet, the easiest way how to overcome it is to put these folders into favorites in Windows Explorer

How do I do that in Win 7? the easiest way how to overcome it is to put these folders into favorites in Windows Explorer

Good advice, Ros, but it's still switching the folders - once you save the rendering in the project folder the path to materials, plants ect. changes too. So you have to switch back - dozens times a day. It's a big waste of time.

I didn't realize it was discussed before, but it seem there's no efect. What's your opinion, Roy? Is it possible to solve it somehow?

It's on the wish list.

OK, thanks.

BTW - can you estimate the current state of the nXt developement? What is your goal? How long the wish list still is? Can we see it to know what can we expect?

Nope.  It's a pretty organic project.  How much attention it gets depends will depend somewhat on how well it does.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
