No easy way to answer this. Rendering time depends on the type of scene you've got, the resolution of your rendering, and the speed of your computer.  How it compares to ar4 depends a lot on what you were doing in ar4.  The basic engine in nXt is many times faster than ar4.  However, we are asking the software to calculate many more paths of light than in previous versions-- so certain scenes can take a lot longer.  Include some example photos to help define the discussion.

Esta imagen la hice con Ar4....
With radiosity?

Esta imagen la renderice 70 minutos

How was this one done?

Many of the same light types are supported.  Here is an explanation of how to add lights to a drawing.  You normally do not need to pre-identify windows for nXt, just set the daylighting conditions and push the render button.  Here is a page on how to combine daylighting and artificial lighting.

You obviously became quite adept at using ar4-- this is a very high quality image for that engine.  Similar results should be possible in nXt with much less effort.  Many of the remaining artifacts, for example the shadows on the back wall, will resolve in time with the nXt engine.  I'd be happy to take a look at this model, if you like.

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4.
