advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Can't seem to import .obj files with texture maps.  Mesh imports just fine but without textures!

Any recommendations?!

Are the material files (*.mtl) located in the same folder as the .obj?  These are required for textures.

Nope, even when the files are in the same folder it does not work

I did check-- it still works for all of my old test cases so nothing's gone wrong generally with the obj reader.

Thanks for the trashbin example-- there is a problem here.  (No way to know if it's the same problem being experienced by alexinfla without more info.)  I was able to get it to read the jpg file into the material by removing the tab character before the line "map_Kd" in the .mtl file using a text editor.  This is something I can fix at my end.  Even after I make the change in the mtl file there may still be something wrong with the texture coords.  I will check further this weekend.

Any updates?  Should I download the latest build?  I haven't in quite some time.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
