AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello;
I just bought the NXT version to autocad 2010. I used version 4 and version 3 before.

I must say that I was right in inserting objects rpc with older versions, but now I have some problems :-(

I installed the plugin Archivision, but I do not know how to insert them.

someone can explain the procedure step by step?

thanks

You have to download the plugin for Autocad from http://www.archvision.com/acm/ RPC now insert the model in Autocad, then you can render in Nxt.
I then put the video on the site Archivision, and finally output the new control bar for items RPC!!

works like the version of AR4?

one thing, but it's free? that is not in the middle of some work I license expires and then I can not go on?? as I said in my original post I have a good collection of objects and I regret not being able to use a lot

Here you will find the answer to your question. You need to download and install ArchVision DASHBOARD, plugin for AutoCAD and provide a path to your collection of RPC

The plugin is free.

From Nxt help....

Using ArchVision RPC

RPCs® are image-based “entourage” objects which can be inserted into your drawing and rendered. Popular RPC objects include people, cars, and plants. Some RPCs are 2D “cutout” objects which automatically orient themselves to a view. Others are 3D textured models.

In order to use ArchVision RPCs in nXt you must download and install the plugin for Autodesk AutoCAD / AutoCAD Architecture from ArchVision's website. Be sure to install the version of the plugin which most closely corresponds to your version of AutoCAD or ACA. The plugin provides an interface within AutoCAD for downloading, inserting, and editing content.

Additional Notes

*
Always use the RPC's “Cast Reflections” switch when working in nXt.
*
A “post-process” plugin is also available for Adobe Photoshop®. Since RPCs are prelit, better results can often be obtained by inserting them into finished renderings.
*
Piranesi® also offers direct support for RPCs
*
RPCs inserted into AutoCAD also work properly with the AutoCAD native _RENDER command.
with your help I was able to install the plugin and now I just have to work and do the render :-)

Hi folks,

I have the RPC pluggin istalled configured etc... All my RPCs are vible in the RPC manager but I have no idea how to install them into ACAD. There is no help for this either in NXT or Archvision. What am I missing?

Thank you,

David

Try typing "rpcplace" at the command line to see if the plugin, is, in fact installed and configured.

Generally, you should see a small RPC floating toolbar w/ this and other commands on it.

Here's archvision's getting start instructions, just in case.

Thank you, I have it under control. The tool bar dissapeard off my screen. It might help to add a quick note in help somewhere to look for the toolbar.

Thank you for the response--gracias para todos...

David

I have my RPC file in a configured path and installed the Plug in.  Unfortunately I'm using Autocad 2010 and the NXT Plug in only goes back 2011.  Alejandro mentioned that you should be as close as possible.  This is computers guys, not horse shoes.  Does close really work?  So far I got nuttin.  Help.

support@archvision.com

Reach them there, but I believe happens is that as newer versions of AutoCad Releases comes the older version of the plugin gets pushed off the Dashboard Interface. I have being using it I think since AutoCad 2008.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More
