AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hey Everyone.

I have recently installed the render farm to 2 computers. Both with windows xp. After rendering, i go to the output file and see 9 NXTIMAGE files. I then go to start, programs, nxt and find the image editor. The icon appears to be the defalt blue box and white page.

The program opens fine and appears nothing is wrong. However, when i go to file, open, i locate the 0000 NXTIMAGE and hit open........ nothing happends. I cant open any of the NXTIMAGE files or append and or the 9 NXTIMAGE files to it.

Any help would be great!

I'll need to take a look at some of the image files.  You don't need to send all of them-- a few will do.  Zip them up and use the upload link if they're too big to attach to a forum message.

ok ive uploaded them.

Here's what I get using the following procedure:

Open the nXt Image Editor.
Load the first image of the sequence, 000000.nXtImage
From the menu, select Image→Arithmetic→Add
Select all of the other images in the sequence (do not select 000000.nXtImage again or it will be counted twice)

-- is this what you would expect?

yes. That looks like my building. However, if i follow the same steps... nothing happens. I do not have the option to select add under arithimetic, its greyed out.

I open image editor. go to file, then open. I select the 000000. The open dialog box goes away but nothing has changed. Still a black screen. I go to image, arithmetic, and the add button is greyed out.

its like i cannot open the NXTIMAGE files at all in the image editor program. I get a black screen no matter what.
What's the Image Editor version?  Go to the About box.
version: 1.0.231
Would it help to uninstall and re-install?
Download the latest build 258 and install over the old one it should update the necessary files and try again.
Thank You very much! Installing the most recent release fixed the problem. I can now open the image file in the editor! Thanks to you and to Roy Hirshkowitz!
