AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I have downloaded the full material library awhile back. Up until recently, I have had no problems, until I tried to use the Acoustic Ceiling tiles.  None of these will load. I have noticed in the command line that any of these materials are returning a "0" instead of a "1", but otherwise there are no error messages, the material simply just doesn't load.

However, I was able to find the cause and get the materials to load; I had to rename the actual file names and remove the comma's. So, it appears that nXt does not like comma's in the file name?

I think the commas are fine-- it's probably something else.  I'll look into it.  Which mechanism are you using to load the material (e.g. drag and drop, the folder button on the material tab, etc.)?

Folder button on the material tab

The material library I think you are referring to is a conversion of AR4 materials. Yes, there are some materials that will not load correctly because of how they are named. If the name has an apostrophe, quote ( ' or " ) or comma, it will not work. As you've figured out, Just renaming them first fixes the problem.

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
