AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I am on AutoCad 2009 64bit and nXt trial.

I have a yellow material in Autocad but is showing up as cyan in AccuRender?

There are some situations where the AutoCAD rendering and the nXt renderings won't match-- nXt doesn't completely capture all of the AutoCAD props-- particularly when "floating colors" are used in the material.  The easiest thing to do is to create an nXt material and assign it to the object.  Let me know if you need help with that.  You can also send the drawing for me to look at, if you like.  Use this upload link if you decide to send it, and include any necessary comments.

well, the autocad layer is yellow with an autocad yellow material. With this i should have said that the NXT image i included did have the yellow i created in NXT materials applied to the layer representing the rails.

thanks

Ah.  Use the Remove Material from Objects button on the Material tab (select the offending objects.)  By-object assignments override layer assignments in AutoCAD.  For some reason the handrails have a material assignment by object (we see this a lot.)  More info. is here.  This is what I get after removing the by-object assignments:

ok, i see. that makes more sense.

Thank you
